Straight of the back of the label´s birth, South Yard has released their second release which is out now an all digital stores.

King of Kings, the South Yard’s second release made up of two tracks, King of Kings and Man of the Livin. A maxi-single which revive the sound and vibes from the 70’ reggae roots sampling two of the biggest tunes from Wayne Wade and fusing them with the keen drums and the fat basslines of the current jungle/dubwize, getting this combination that we love between essence and innovation.

King of Kings, produced by Kursiva and Karlixx is a sweet and conscious tune from its root, which plays dubbing vocal and instruments while the bassline and drums take over and contribute with the hardness and aggressiveness.

Man of the Livin, produced in the most pure dubwize style by Kursiva, Karlixx and Mooncat, droped with the vocal, with a melodic bassline and an epic winds section make us remind the mid 2000 style but with a sound and edition totally renovated.
​
The musical identity of the imprint keep going in this new single where old school sounds blend with nu school sounds; fully made of jamaican influences and bass music techniques.
South Yard is a young label, their dedication is keen and conscious. Working with no rush but never loosing the workflow!!
