about

After the launching of the label with the track "Ain't no Sunshine" (free dowload) as a gift the past 1st of june, we are now presenting our first release through the digital stores, a maxisingle composed by two big tunes loaded with some of our most representative sounds.

"Babylon Bwoy" is the track that gives the title to the release, the first collaboration between Kursiva & Dubtime but for sure not the last.
Created in Bristol, the cradle of of the genre, "Babylon Bwoy" is a fat tune with a dancehall beat, amen breaks, deep bassline and the huge voice of Baby Cham, perfect ingredients for get a badman tune with the old school jungle vibes mixed with the newest and keenest sound.
This tune was played in the Dj Target Show at BBC 1Xtra, Benny Page says that is one of the top tunes in his 2016 sets, it will be included in the 4th Jungle Cakes album and is one of the tunes that we choose for introduce ourself.

The other track is "We Want no More", another big one production by Dj Karlixx & Mooncat.
Was the year 1978 when the jamaican duo Althea & Donna recorded the album “Uptown Top Ranking” where was included the track "No more Fighting", track that reached the top in UK.
Now, Mooncat & Karlixx join his forces again to create their version of the tune "No More Fighting" using the winds section so characteristic in this tune, dubbing the sweet voices and packing all with a massive bassline. This remix renamed as "We Want no More" is going to smash the dancefloor.

Those two tracks have made of this first maxi single a complete release, where we want to show you part of the sounds that we would like to represent.
